Senior quarterback Perry Patterson was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after a career day against #6/6 Louisville on Saturday. Patterson completed 24 of 38 for a career-best 303 yards and one touchdown.
Patterson eclipsed the 300-yard mark for the first time in his career against the Cardinals. In addition, his 24 completions are tied for second and the 38 attempts are tied for seventh on the single-game record list in school history.
Patterson raised his career total to 4,735, passing Troy Nunes and R.J. Anderson for fourth in school history. Nunes recorded 4,578 yards from 1999 to 2002 while Anderson posted 4,698 yards from 2000 to 2003. Patterson also moved into a tie for fifth in school history with 23 touchdown passes.
