Kaup Named Scholar-Athlete of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Junior Joscie Kaup, the libero of the Orange volleyball team, has been honored as the Syracuse University Scholar-Athlete of the Week for the week of Oct. 23.
Kaup, a native of Fort Recovery, Ohio, has been named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll four times and to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team in 2004 and 2005. She is majoring in broadcast journalism.
The Orange volleyball team has three matches this week. Syracuse will travel to Ithaca, N.Y. to square-off against the Cornell Big Red on Tuesday at 7 p.m. The Orange will then play at Villanova and Rutgers on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, in two BIG EAST contests.
