SYRACUSE, NY -- The Syracuse men's basketball team will have 27 regular season and two exhibition games televised during the course of the 2006-07 campaign.
ESPN has seven of Syracuse's games, including Big Monday matchups at Connecticut (Feb. 5) and against Georgetown (Feb. 26). The Jimmy V Classic, which features Syracuse vs. Oklahoma State in the first game of a doubleheader at Madison Square Garden, will also be televised by ESPN. CBS, which owns the rights to the NCAA Tournament, will televise the Villanova game (Jan. 13) and ABC has the Dome game with Connecticut (Feb. 17).
ESPN Regional, which is televised locally on Time Warner 26, has the rights to eight Orange outings. Seven of the games are BIG EAST Conference affairs while the eighth is the SU game at Canisius in Buffalo's HSBC Arena. Syracuse will appear on ESPNU three times and ESPN360 twice.
Time Warner 26 will televise locally five non-conference games on the Syracuse slate.
The only Syracuse contests not schedule for television are the three games in the Black Coaches Association Invitational (Nov. 10-11-12).
