Orange Opens Season at the Head of the Genesee

The Syracuse women's rowing team opens it 2006-07 on Sunday at the Head of the Genesee in Rochester. The event, which was formerly known as the Stonehurst Invitational, is hosted by Rochester Institute of Technology and the University of Rochester. Syracuse is joined by Division I crews from Brown, Bucknell, Colgate, Cornell, Harvard, Buffalo, Albany and West Virginia as well as several Division III schools and club crews.
The Orange returns six members from its 2005-06 varsity eight, including two members who earned all-region accolades last year.
