Orange to Square off Againts Scarlet Knights at 12:00 p.m. on ESPNU

The 2006 Orange football squad will close the regular season on Saturday, November 25 at #7/8 Rutgers. The game will be televised on ESPNU. Kickoff will be 12:00 p.m. It will be the 10th television appearance for Syracuse this season.
Syracuse has won 28 of the 36 meetings against Rutgers and has a 10-2 record against the Scarlet Knights in Piscataway. The Orange has won 12 of 15 games since the inception of the BIG EAST Conference.
The Orange beat Connecticut, 20-14, in its final home game of the 2006 season. Senior quarterback Perry Patterson completed 8-of-19 passes for 143 yards and one touchdown pass, while senior linebacker Kelvin Smith paced the Syracuse defense with nine tackles.
