WHAS-TV to Air SU/Louisville Women’s Basketball Game

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Syracuse University women’s basketball team’s game at BIG EAST foe Louisville on Saturday, February 10, at Freedom Hall has been chosen to be telecast by WHAS-TV, an ABC affiliate the University of Louisville announced. It is the third SU game slated to be aired on television this season.
The Syracuse/Louisville encounter is one of three games WHAS-TV will broadcast in 2006-07.
In addition to the WHAS-TV appearance, two other Orange games have been chosen for television. SU’s home game against South Florida on Sunday, January 28 was selected as one of the six regular-season BIG EAST games on ESPNU. The Orange’s clash with BIG EAST powerhouse Connecticut on Saturday, January 13, at Gampel Pavilion was chosen to be telecast by Connecticut Public Television CPTV.
The Orange hosts Athletes in Action in its final exhibition game on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Manley Field House. Admission to the game is free. Syracuse tips off the regular season on the road against Penn State on Sunday, November 12 at 2 p.m.
