2006 Orange Football Will Kickoff on Sept. 2 at Wake Forest

The Syracuse football squad will kick off the 2006 campaign at Wake Forest on Saturday, September 2. The Orange will debut in front of the home crowd in the Carrier Dome on Saturday, September 9 against Iowa. Syracuse will also host Miami (OH) on September 23.

Syracuse's BIG EAST home schedule includes games against Pittsburgh (Oct. 7), Louisville (Oct. 21) and Connecticut (Nov. 18), while the Orange will play at West Virginia (Oct. 14), Cincinnati (Oct. 28), South Florida (Nov. 11) and Rutgers (Nov. 25).

Syracuse has one remaining game to schedule due to East Carolina University opting out of the final game of a multi-year deal. Details regarding season tickets and game times will be released as available. For up-to-date information visit SU’s official athletics website, www.suathletics.com.
