
Kader Drame Signs with Colts

Former Syracuse student-athlete Kader Drame signed with the Indianapolis Colts. Drame is now one of 36 former Orange standouts currently playing in the NFL.
Drame is one of 10 defensive ends competing for a spot on the Colts' depth chart. Drame started all 11 games as a senior for SU and recorded 26 tackles, including four tackles for a loss. He also registered three passes defended, one forced fumble and one blocked kick.
Drame is the fifth former Syracuse student-athlete competing for the Colts this season. He joins defensive ends Dwight Freeney and Josh Thomas, wide receiver Marvin Harrison and running back James Mungro.
Syracuse will kick off the 2006 season with an away game against Wake Forest on Sept. 2. The team then travels back to the Carrier Dome for the home opener against Iowa on Sept. 9.
