Hopkins Milks Donation For Coaches vs. Cancer

SYRACUSE, NY -- Assistant men's basketball coach Mike Hopkins teamed up at the New York State Fair to win a cow-milking contest an earn $1,000 for Coaches vs. Cancer. Hopkins and his crew gathered 10 pounds of milk in four minutes to claim first place.
The event was part of Dairy Day at the Fair on Monday, August 28. His team also included Bill Byrne, president of Byrne Dairy; Assemblyman Bill McGee; WVTH-TV5 personality Keith Koblan and State Agriculture Commissioner Pat Brennan.
Hopkins has been an active New York State Fair participant in the past and has given clinics at the annual event.
