The 2006 Orange football team will appear on television for the fifth time in 2006 when it hosts Pittsburgh in the Carrier Dome on October 7 at 12:00 p.m. The Syracuse Homecoming game marks the beginning of the 16th season of BIG EAST football for the Orange. Every Syracuse game will be broadcast on the Syracuse ISP Sports Network, which is streamed live on Orange All Access.
This Saturday (Sept. 16), Syracuse plays at Illinois in a game that kicks off at 12:00 p.m. ET and will be televised on ESPNU. Then the Orange returns to the Carrier Dome for a three-game homestand that begins on September 23 when Miami (OH) makes its third trip to the Carrier Dome. That game will be a re-match of the first game played in the Carrier Dome, which Syracuse won, 36-24, on September 20, 1980. The Red Hawks also played in the Dome during the 1987 season, losing to the Orange 24-10. Syracuse finished the 1987 season with an 11-0-1 record.
Season and individual game tickets are available via the internet (click here) and at the Carrier Dome Box Office (1-888-DOMETIX).
