Orange Lacrosse to Hold Boys Coaches Clinic

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse University men's lacrosse coaching staff will host a Boys Lacrosse Coaches Clinic on Saturday, March 17 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Manley Field House. All levels of lacrosse coaches are welcome.
The clinic entry fee is $45 for those not wishing to attend the March 17 lacrosse tripleheader at the Carrier Dome and $55 (tripleheader admission included) if received on or before March 1, 2007. Thereafter, the fees will be $55 and $65, respectively. The registration fee includes lunch. The Dome tripleheader features games between Cortland and Springfield, Syracuse and Johns Hopkins and Le Moyne and C.W. Post. Please make checks payable to Syracuse University.
Registration will be held in the Manley Field House lobby on the day of the clinic from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. From there the group will move to the Stevenson Educational Center where SU head coach John Desko, Johns Hopkins head coach Dave Pietramala, Cortland head coach Steve Beville and Le Moyne coaches Dan Sheehan and Rich Barnes will speak on a variety of topics. Desko will host a question and answer session. Pietramala will talk about transition offense. Beville will speak on the topic of rides and clears. Sheehan will give a presentation on team defense and Barnes will talk about goalie drills and routines.
