Uniondale, N.Y.-Graduate student Alida DiPlacido won the three-meter dive, giving her the BIG EAST titles on both boards. DiPlacido was named Outstanding Diver of the meet for her efforts and her coach, Jeff Keck, claimed the BIG EAST Women’s Diving Coach of the Year Award, his first.
DiPlacido was seeded second after the preliminaries, where she scored a 285.50. In the finals, DiPlacido won by a commanding margin with a score of 306.25, defeating Lisa Marianni of Connecticut (278.35) and Tara Hyer of Notre Dame (247.80).
