Four SU Student Athletes Listed on NCAA Rankings

Four members of the Syracuse track and field team are listed among the best in the country. Sophomore Michael LeBlanc, senior Aulton Kohn and juniors Jillian Drouin and Kaity Lambracht are listed on the most recent NCAA rankings which determine participants for the NCAA Championship.
LeBlanc currently ranks eighth in the 60m dash. He recorded a season-best time of 6.67 at the Penn State National Open. His time at the meet set the school record, breaking the mark of 6.69 set in Samuel Okantey. LeBlanc also set the BIG EAST Championship record in the event, recording a time of 6.71 during the preliminaries. He finished fifth at the finals in his first conference meet.
Kohn has recorded the 19th-fastest time in the 60m dash this season. He recorded a time of 6.70 at the Cornell Relays. The 2005 and 2006 BIG EAST Champion in the 60m dash, Kohn won the 200m dash title at the conference championship this season. He also earned all-conference accolades in the 60m dash, finishing second at the championship meet.
Drouin ranks eighth in the country in the pentathlon. She broke her own school record by posting 3,948 points at the BIG EAST Championship. Her performance was good for second in the conference and earned her All-BIG EAST accolades.
Lambracht is also listed among the best in the pentathlon. The junior is currently listed at 36th after her performance at the BIG EAST Championship. Lambracht finished fifth at the championship with a career-best mark of 3,727 points.
