SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The most frequently contested rivalry in Syracuse basketball history is scheduled to continue this winter when the Orange host Colgate on Monday, Dec. 17, at 7:00 p.m. in the Carrier Dome.
Syracuse has 114-45 advantage in the overall series which dates back to the 1901-02 season. This will mark the 15th consecutive campaign the Orange and the Raiders have met on the hardcourt. A year ago the Orange emerged with a 79-52 victory on Dec. 9, 2006.
Colgate was 10-19 overall and 5-9 in the Patriot League last winter. Veteran coach Emmett Davis has 11 lettermen and three starters returning.
Syracuse previously announced home non-conference games with Fordham (11/16), Massachusetts (11/28), Tulane (12/1), Rhode Island (12/8) and East Tennessee State (12/15).
