The Syracuse University women’s basketball coaching staff is in the middle of a very busy summer. The coaches are conducting various camps in the coming weeks and head to the road for July recruiting.

The Syracuse University women’s basketball coaching staff is in the middle of a very busy summer. The coaches are conducting various camps in the coming weeks and head to the road for July recruiting.
The Syracuse Team Camp was held at the Carrier Dome from June 29-July 1. Approximately 15 teams received individual position and team instruction from Orange head coach Quentin Hillsman and his staff. The players also participated in scrimmages, drills and other player development activities.
The staff is currently putting on the Elite Camp for advanced varsity level players, grades 10-12. The two-day camp concludes today with playoff and championship games. The campers also worked on fundamentals, including, shooting, passing and defense.
SU's last camp, the Overnight Camp, takes place August 3-August 6. Registration is on August 3 from noon-2 p.m. and the camp ends at noon on August 6. Camp fee is just $350.00 and includes all meals and housing. If campers do not wish to stay overnight there is a commuter rate of $300.00 which does not include meals and housing. A $100.00 non-refundable deposit is required for either.
