
Pu Notches 250th Career Win at Syracuse

SYRACUSE, NY - Head coach Jing Pu, in his 13th season, collected his 250th career win at Syracuse following a 3-0 sweep against Fordham on day two of the Big Orange Tournament. Sophomore Kacie MacTavish tallied her third straight double-double after posting a team-high 12 kills and 11 digs in the win.
Sophomore Samantha Ainsworth led the Orange offensive attack with a team-high 20 assists. Redshirt-junior April Quigley added 17.
Freshman Mindy Stanislovaitis totaled nine kills while sophomores Sarah Morton and Annabelle Pellerin and junior Brittany Kern each contributed six.
Defensively, Syracuse was led by senior Joscie Kaup's team-high 25 digs.
The Orange is back in action in the Big Orange Tournament finale at 7:00 p.m. against Texas Tech. Fordham and Princeton, both winless in tournament play, meet at 4:30 p.m.
