SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Orange fans can catch freshman forward Donte’ Greene on this week’s edition of “Inside The BIG EAST”. Greene, tabbed the Preseason BIG EAST Co-Rookie of the Year with teammate Jonny Flynn, ranks fourth in the conference in scoring with an 18.4 points per game average.
Through 20 games, Greene’s limitless scoring prowess has powered an Orange offensive attack ranked 12th nationally with 82.5 points per contest. The Baltimore, Md., native has tallied double-figure scoring performances in 19 of 20 outings and has thrice been selected the BIG EAST Rookie of the Week. Greene has totaled four double-doubles this season.
In addition to Greene, “Inside The BIG EAST” will profile new West Virginia football head coach Bill Stewart, Cincinnati guard Deonta Vaughn, Providence Athletic Director Robert G. Driscoll, Jr. and the conference’s Scholar Athlete of the Week USF’s George Selvie.
Fans in the Syracuse area can watch the program on MSG on Friday, January 25 at 5:30 p.m. and Saturday, January 26 at 11:30 a.m. Additionally, ESPNU will carry the program on Friday at 6:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., and on Sunday, January 27 at 2:00 a.m.
