SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse University head women’s soccer coach Patrick Farmer resigned today. The second coach in the program’s 12-year history, Farmer led the Orange to a 23-41-9 record, including a 7-8-4 mark in 2007.
“I am resigning my position to pursue other opportunities,” Farmer said. “I have enjoyed my time at Syracuse. It is a special University in a great part of the country. In four years we have built a solid foundation for the future of the program. I wish the team well.”
“We appreciate all that Pat has done for the program,” said Syracuse director of athletics Dr. Daryl Gross. “He has established a strong base from which we can grow the program to achieve national success.”
