Lambracht Named Female Scholar Athlete of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Senior Kaity Lambracht, a member of the women’s track & field team, is the Syracuse University Female Scholar Athlete of the Week for the week of January 28.

Lambracht, who hails from Whitehouse Station, N.J., is a two-time BIG EAST Academic All-Star and has earned Athletic Director’s Honor Roll accolades following the fall and spring semesters of the 2005-06 and 2006-07 academic years. She is a dual-major in entrepreneurship and information management and technology. As a jumps and multi-events performer, she finished fifth in the pentathlon at last season’s BIG EAST Championship.

The Orange men and women’s indoor track & field teams return to Manley Field House for the Syracuse Invitational on Saturday, February 2.
