SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse University men and women’s rowing squads host the annual Syracuse Invitational on Saturday, November 1 on Onondaga Lake. Buffalo, Colgate, Connecticut, Cornel, Hobart, Marist and Rochester will all join Syracuse in seven separate races.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse University men and women’s rowing squads host the annual Syracuse Invitational on Saturday, November 1 on Onondaga Lake. Buffalo, Colgate, Connecticut, Cornel, Hobart, Marist and Rochester will all join Syracuse in seven separate races.
The day begins at 10 a.m. with the men’s varsity four “A” flight. The Orange has three of the 18 boats in this flight. The women’s varsity four “B” flight will begin five minutes later, with SU entering three vessels in that race as well.
Syracuse has two boats in the men’s freshman eight at 10:15 a.m. and two others in the women’s novice eight at 10:20 a.m.
The “B” flight of the varsity four will be next, with the men entering three boats and the women having four including one novice vessel.
The day concludes at 1:30 p.m. with the women’s varsity eight. The Orange will have three of the 12 entries.
