SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Orange women's basketball team was included in an Associated Press article which recognized 12 women's teams in the NCAA tournament with perfect graduation rates from 1997-2001. The study looked at the freshman classes during those years and gave the student-athletes six years to graduate.
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Orange women's basketball team was included in an Associated Press article which recognized 12 women's teams in the NCAA tournament with perfect graduation rates from 1997-2001. The study looked at the freshman classes during those years and gave the student-athletes six years to graduate.
Joining Syracuse as teams with perfect graduation rates and playing in this year's tournament are Bucknell, Marist, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, Robert Morris, San Diego, Tennessee, Texas and Vanderbilt.
The Orange displays excellence on and off the court and will be making its first NCAA Tournament appearance since the 2002 season. SU faces Hartford during the first round on Saturday, March 22 at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center in Baton Rouge, La., in Oklahoma City bracket of the NCAA Tournament. The contest, which is schedule to start at approximately 2:30 p.m. ET, will be televised on ESPN 2.
Tickets are on sale to the general public at the Carrier Dome Box Office.
