Flynn, Greene Named To All-Freshman Teams By CollegeHoops.net

SYRACUSE, NY -- First-year performers Jonny Flynn and Donte Greene were each named to all-freshman teams selected by CollegeHoops.Net. Flynn was a Third Team All-Freshman pick while Greene was an honorable mention honoree.
Flynn, who shared BIG EAST Conference Rookie of the Year honors with Pittsburgh's DeJuan Blair this season, teamed with Greene to form the second-highest scoring freshman duo in college basketball. Flynn averaged 15.7 points per game and led the team in assista average (5.3). Greene led the Orange in scoring average (17.7), ranked third in rebounding average (7.2) and first in blocked shots average (1.6). Both players started all 35 games for Syracuse.
