SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse women’s rowers Ally Doodeman and Natalie Mastracci have officially been invited to the Canadian Under-23 Seat Racing Camp this June. The two were selected because of their erg scorers. Only 12 athletes were invited to participate in the camp.
The two will be competing for a spot on Canada’s Under-23 National Team that will compete in the World Rowing Under-23 Championships in Brandenburg, Germany from July 17-20.
The World Rowing Under-23 Championship are a showcase of up-and-coming athletes who are too old to compete at a junior level but are still in need of further development to rank among top senior elite rowers.
Before that the two will lead Syracuse at the Eastern Sprints on Sunday, May 18
