CAMDEN, N.J. – One Syracuse boat qualified for the grand finals and earned a top-three finish at the Eastern Sprints on Sunday, May 18. Syracuse’s second varsity four placed third, recording a time of 7:38.061. SU’s varsity eight, second varsity eight and varsity four boats all qualified for the petite final.

CAMDEN, N.J. – One Syracuse boat qualified for the grand finals and earned a top-three finish at the Eastern Sprints on Sunday, May 18. Syracuse’s second varsity four placed third, recording a time of 7:38.061. SU’s varsity eight, second varsity eight and varsity four boats all qualified for the petite final.
The varsity eight boat placed fourth in the petite final, one spot up from last season, recording a time of 6:42.027. The second varsity eight also played fourth in the petite final with a time of 7:02.317.
The varsity four boat finished third in the petite final, posting a time of 7:36.061.
The Orange will hope to continue its season with an invitation to the NCAA Championship, which is scheduled for May 30-June 1, in Sacramento, Calif.
