SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Orange fans can relive all the excitement and pageantry of the men’s lacrosse team’s run to the 2008 NCAA title with “One Team. One Dream,” the exclusive highlight DVD commemorating Syracuse’s championship season. The DVD hit stores on Wednesday, July 16 and is also available online at SUathletics.com by clicking here

Retail price for the DVD is $19.95 and it’s available in the University Book Store located in the Schine Student Center, Manny’s and Shirt World on Marshall Street and Lacrosse Unlimited in the Wegmans Dewitt Plaza on E. Genesee Street in Fayetteville.

“One Team. One Dream.” was produced and directed by Syracuse’s Roger Springfield and narrated by Simon Barritt. It chronicles the Orange’s historic journey from the start of the regular season to its pulse-pounding semifinal and championship game victories at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass. The DVD also features exclusive behind-the scenes interviews, commentary and extras, including a tribute to the 1983 SU national championship team and a 2008 SU women’s lacrosse season recap.

USILA Coach of the Year John Desko engineered one of the most remarkable turnarounds in the sport’s history this season after going 5-8 in 2007. He, along with All-Americans Mike Leveille and Steven Brooks, led the Orange to a 16-2 record that included a 13-10 victory against Johns Hopkins to win SU's NCAA-record 10th national championship. The 2008 Orange became the second team in NCAA history to win the title after missing the playoffs the year before and fashioned a 10-game winning streak during the regular season that included exciting overtime wins against Georgetown and Johns Hopkins.
