Senior strong safety A.J. Brown has recorded 60 career tackles and five interceptions for the Orange. The three-year letterwinner is also a three-time Athletics Directors Honor Roll member and a 2007 BIG EAST All-Academic Team honoree. Brown and the 2008 Orange will start the 2008 campaign at Northwestern on Saturday, August 30 (12:00 p.m., ESPN2). Get to know the information and technology major in this edition of 'Cuse Clips.
All 2008 season and individual tickets are available online and at the Carrier Dome Box Office (888-DOMETIX). Season ticket packages begin at $100 in Touchdown Town. Adult season tickets are $205, youth/student season tickets are $115 and faculty/staff season tickets are $164. A 2008 Penn State Pack, which includes tickets for SU’s games against Penn State (Sept. 13) and Pittsburgh (Sept. 27) or Penn State and Connecticut (Nov. 15), is also available. The cost of the two-game package is $85 for adults and $40 for youth. Individual game tickets for Akron, Northeastern, Pittsburgh, Louisville and Connecticut are $36 for adults and $18 for youth (ages 12 and under). Individual game tickets for Penn State are $57 for adults and $30 for youth.

What was your ‘Welcome to college football' moment?
I'd have to say this one game at Connecticut when I ran down on the kickoff and I was knocked into a little bit of a daze.
With only a couple days left, what does the team need to work on the most to prepare for Northwestern?
Coming together as a whole unit and focusing on team unity. We need to work as one cohesive unit.
What is one part of your game that you feel more confident about this year than last year?
I'd have to say knowing my mental assignments for myself.
What goes through your mind when you know you're about to put a big hit on somebody?
It's probably one of the best feelings in the world. If you see someone get hit hard, it gets your energy going out the roof.
What Syracuse University class has taught you the most?
I took this college learning strategies class and it taught me how to study and manage my time so that was probably one of the most helpful classes I ever took.
Five years after graduating from Syracuse I will be …
Hopefully I will have a nice job working with computers and maybe married and a couple kids!
Advice to first-year teammates?
Give it your all and go out there and give 100% and never let it down. Always do what you have to do and always battle.
