The Orange fought off Princeton in the final minutes for a 77-75 win on December 16, 2007. Free throws by Chandrea Jones and Fantasia Goodwin gave Syracuse the two point advantage with less than five seconds remaining.
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Orange women’s basketball team ends its non-conference schedule with a game against Princeton on December 30 at noon in the Carrier Dome. The game will make the second meeting between the two teams, with Syracuse boasting a 1-0 advantage.
The Orange fought off Princeton in the final minutes for a 77-75 win on December 16, 2007. Free throws by Chandrea Jones and Fantasia Goodwin gave Syracuse the two point advantage with less than five seconds remaining.
The Tigers will be led by Addie Micir and Jessica Berry. Micir averaged 7.5 points and 4.1 rebounds last season and Berry chipped in with 7.1 points and 2.6 assists per contest. Princeton finished the 2007-08 season with a overall mark of 7-23.
