SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse University rowing teams enjoyed their annual Syracuse Alumni Rowing Association’s Men and Women’s Rowing (S.A.R.A.) Reunion on the weekend on September 11-14. Events for the weekend included the Syracuse University's ‘Night of Distinction’ where Melissa (Emme) Entwistle Aronson ’85 and the 1978 men’s crew team were honored.

Events for the weekend included the Syracuse University's ‘Night of Distinction’ where Melissa (Emme) Entwistle Aronson ’85 and the 1978 men’s crew team were honored.
On Friday some of the alumni enjoyed the world premiere of 'The Express' at the historic Landmark Theatre. 'The Express' chronicles the life of Orange legend Ernie Davis, the 1961 Heisman Trophy winner.
There were many activities on Saturday, including the Alumni Row/Class Day races and picnic at the Syracuse University Boat House as well as Orange football versus Penn State at the Carrier Dome.
The women open the season at the Head of the Genesee on Oct. 12 and the men open at the Princeton Chase on Oct. 26.
