What is your attitude and outlook for Syracuse’s first season?
My attitude is to always stay positive, even through the storm, and to make sure my teammates are always positive. My outlook for the first season is for everyone to become a family and enjoy hockey. If you are having fun and working hard at the same time everything will work out. We need to stay happy and healthy and I will do my part to make sure all the girls are in.
When I’m not on the ice or in the classroom, you are…
Hanging out with friends and still enjoying my adolescent years.
What is your favorite spot on SU’s campus?
Right now it’s the Starbucks on campus, but that’s because I don’t know anyone yet. I am pretty sure that will change.
I bet you’d never guess THIS about me…
I have lived in 5 different houses over the past 3 years.
What is your fondest hockey experience?
All 4 years at Nationals with Colorado Select AAA.
Why did you choose SU?
SU is a very promising school and the opportunity to be a part of a new Division I ice hockey program is something I could not pass up. The coaches are amazingly great, also!
Who is your favorite hockey player?
The Great One, Wayne Gretzky.
Who are your favorite NHL teams?
The Toronto Maple Leafs and the Dallas Stars.
Why did you start playing ice hockey?
I live in Canada and that’s what you do there. My brother and Dad played and I just got started in it young and have loved it ever since.
Besides hockey, I could probably beat you in…
Basketball all the way… Bring it on!
You’ll hear this playing on my "Pre-Game Pump-Up" List…
I have tons of pre game songs. It’s mostly all rap to get me fired up!
What is your ideal pre-game meal?
The usual chicken and pasta but I also like peanut butter on a bagel.
