1. Why did you choose Syracuse?
Well I’m from Oswego which is very close and that’s important because I can be around my family. My parents love to come to the games and watch, so that was important. And also, it’s a great academic school.
2. What is your favorite thing to do when you have time off?
I just like to relax and hang out with my friends, watch movies, just anything relaxing.
3. Where is your favorite vacation spot?
I went to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic my sophomore year and that was definitely my favorite place.
4. Name a famous person you would like to have dinner with?
Uh, I don’t even know. Paul Walker.
5. If you were stuck on a deserted island, name three things you would like to have with you?
Brittany Kern, a comfortable bed and chicken wings, because I love those so much.
6. What is your favorite SU volleyball memory?
Probably my sophomore year when we beat Pittsburgh, because that was a big upset. I just remember everyone played so well and Jing was really proud of us.
7. What is the best advice you’ve received since coming to college?
Probably just to enjoy the time that you’re given because you never know if you’re going to suffer an injury. You just have to appreciate all time that you have.
8. Where do you see yourself in five years?
Hopefully I’ll be in grad school. I want to go to grad school for the school of psychology, so hopefully I’ll be finishing that up.
9. What has been your favorite class at Syracuse?
I really like what I’m taking now- Behavior Disorders of Children- I think that’s my favorite so far.
10. What is your favorite practice drill?
ABC, it’s just so simple and it really allows you to show off your defensive skills.
