Syracuse defensive back Phillip Thomas will miss Syracuse's game against South Florida on Saturday, October 3 and will be re-evaluated next week. Thomas suffered an injury in practice this week. Thomas has seven tackles, including six solo, in four games. The South Florida game is part of 'Orange Central' Weekend, which includes Homecoming and Reunion Weekend.

After it's game against South Florida, the Orange will host West Virginia on October 10. Tickets are available online and at the Carrier Dome Box Office (888-DOME-TIX). The 'Big Five' ticket pack is available to all Orange football fans for SU's five remaining home games. The special packages start at $75 in Touchdown Town.
