Syracuse Men and Women's Rowing Host Annual Syracuse Invitational

SYRACUSE – The Syracuse University men and women's rowing teams host the annual Syracuse Invitational on Saturday, October 31 on at the Ten Eyck Boathouse located at Onondaga Lake Outlet in Longbranch Park. Buffalo, Colgate, Cornel, Hobart, Marist and Rochester will all join the Orange in six separate races.
The day begins at 10 a.m. with the men's varsity four “A” flight. The Orange has three of the 13 boats in the flight. The women's varsity four “B” flight will begin five minutes later, with SU entering three vessels in that race as well.
Syracuse has two boats in the men's freshman eight at 10:15 a.m. and two others in the women's novice eight at 10:20 a.m.
The day concludes with the “B” flight of the varsity four. The men have one boat racing at 11 a.m. and the women have four in the final even of the day at 11:15 a.m.
