SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Freshman Isabel Menard has been named the College Hockey America Rookie of the Week for the fourth time this season for her performance against Wayne State. Menard has received more CHA nods than any other player in the league. It is also the third consecutive week that Syracuse has received the Rookie of the Week honor.
Menard scored the first goal of Friday's game, then added assists on back-to-back goals on Saturday, including the game-winner. She had six shots on goal and a +2 plus/minus rating through the weekend series.
Menard is second on the team in assists with 11, while her six goals is third this season.
