SYRACUSE, NY – Attention all Orange men's basketball fans: Support SU at the BIG EAST Tournament. A limited numberof 300- and 400-level all-session packages for the BIG EAST Conference Men's Basketball Tournament are available for purchase at the Carrier Dome Box Office (in person at Gate B or by phone at 888-DOME-TIX (888-366-3849).
This year's BIG EAST Conference Tournament will feature a revised format. All 16 member teams will compete in the event. The top four teams in the final regular-season standings will receive byes through two rounds of tournament play while the programs placing fifth-through-eighth will have first-round byes. The BIG EAST Conference Tournament champion earns an automatic bid to the 65-team NCAA Championship.
The all-session packages, which include all 15 games of the tournament, are priced at $390. The 2009 BIG EAST Conference Tournament at New York's Madison Square Garden runs from Tuesday, March 10, to Saturday, March 14. There is a limit of six per order. The tickets are guaranteed upon purchase.
