Eight at Home for the 2009 Orange

The 2009 football Orange will play eight home games, including four against non-conference opponents. The season kicks off against Minnesota on Saturday, September 5 in the Carrier Dome. After a trip to Penn State to play the Nittany Lions on September 12, Syracuse returns home to host Northwestern (9/19), Maine (9/26) and Akron (10/3) before the BIG EAST schedule begins. The Orange will face league opponents Cincinnati, Rutgers, South Florida and West Virginia in the Dome this Fall. The dates for all BIG EAST Conference games have yet to be announced by the league office but are anticipated later this month.
New season tickets can be ordered now online (SUAthletics.com) and at the Carrier Dome Box Office (888-DOMETIX). Renewals for preferred seating, premium seating, and season tickets will be mailed this month and can be processed online (suathletics.com). New preferred/premium seat patrons are invited to call the Carrier Dome Box Office for more information.
Syracuse begins Spring practice on March 23 and will have its annual Spring game at 1:00 p.m. on April 18 in the Carrier Dome.
