Marrone Takes the Field Monday

The Orange will take the field for the first time in the Doug Marrone era on Monday, March 23 to kick off Spring practice. Fans are invited to come out and watch the Orange as it prepares for the 2009 season. The annual Spring game is set for Saturday, April 18 at 1:00 p.m. in the Carrier Dome. Admission is free. Practices will be held at the Katz and Schwartzwalder Practice Fields behind Manley Field House, weather permitting. In the event of inclement weather, practice will be held at the Carrier Dome.
The 2009 squad features seven returning starters on offense and defense, including quarterback Cam Dantley, wide receivers Donte Davis and Lavar Lobdell, tight end Mike Owen, offensive tackle Tucker Baumbach, offensive guard Jim Bartholomew, center Jim McKenzie, defensive end Jared Kimmel, defensive tackle Arthur Jones, linebackers Derrell Smith and Mike Mele, cornerback Kevyn Scott and safeties Michael Holmes and Max Suter. In addition, punter Rob Long and long snapper Max Leo also return to the squad.
Practices will be held Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, per the following schedule:

New season tickets can be ordered now online and at the Carrier Dome Box Office (888-DOMETIX). Renewals for preferred seating, premium seating, and season tickets will be mailed this month and can be processed online. New preferred/premium seat patrons are invited to call the Carrier Dome Box Office for more information.
