SYRACUSE, NY -- Syracuse sophomore guard Jonny Flynn is one of the key players featured on this week's cover of Sports Illustrated. The magazine has used a collage of photos to preview the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament the past few years and Flynn is the Syracuse representative on the 2009 edition.

The magazine developed regional covers with specific players from each region highlighted.

Flynn, a second-team All-BIG EAST Conference selection, earned the league's tournament MVP honor, the David R. Gavitt Award, after leading the Orange into the BET championship game with Louisville.

Syracuse enters the NCAA Tournament with a 26-9 overall record and a number three seed. The Orange squares off with Stephen F. Austin on Friday, March 20, at 12:15 p.m. in Miami, Fla., in first-round action.
