
Gorman Named To Times' Top 100

Matt Gorman, a member of Syracuse's 2003 NCAA men's basketball championship squad has been named one of the 100 greatest athlete's in North Country history by the Watertown Times.
Gorman saw action in 75 games over four seasons of play with the Orange. As a senior in 2006-07, he played in 30 contests and started five of those outings.
Since earning his degree from SU, Gorman has pursued a professional basketball career in Europe. He started with Neptue Cork in the Irish Superleague and then advanced to the Sheffield Sharks in the British Basketball League. He participated in the league's All-Star game last month.
Gorman was a standout high-school performer at Watertown High School. He helped the Cyclones to its first section basketball title in 51 years. Watertown won the 2001 Section 3 Class A title as well.
