PROVIDENCE, RI -- The BIG EAST Conference has launched www.sixovertimes.com, a micro-site created to immortalize the 2009 BIG EAST Men's Basketball Quarterfinal game between Syracuse and Connecticut.
The Orange emerged from the six-overtime encounter with a 127-117 victory. It was the longest game in BIG EAST Conference history and the second-longest in the NCAA record books. Syracuse went on to reach the conference title game before losing to Louisville.
Created by Minneapolis based row27 Studios, the site includes a slick introduction video and video synopses of each overtime period. There is over 10 minutes of video to watch in all.
Fans can access the box score, key game facts and team profiles. They can also review a photo gallery and commemorate the contest by purchasing any one of several photos exclusively at the BIG EAST online photo store, which is provided by Replay Photos.
Fans will have the ability to share the site through e-mail, Facebook, Twitter and MySpace.
Users can click on the sixovertimes.com banner on the men's basketball sport page of BIGEAST.org to access the site as well.
