        SYRACUSE, NY – Syracuse will host Oakland for the second straight season when the Grizzlies come to the Carrier Dome on December 22, 2009. The Orange and Oakland squared off last November and SU emerged with an 86-66 victory.
        Oakland was 23-13 and earned a spot in the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament a year ago. The Grizzlies defeated Kent State before losing to Bradley in the event. Oakland finished third in the Summit League with a 13-5 league mark.
        Greg Kampe has accumulated a 419-314 record in 25 seasons at Oakland. He has all five starters back from last year's club, including top scorer Derick Nelson (17.3 ppg.), a senior forward.
