SU and BC to Play on ESPN or ESPN2

The Syracuse football game against Boston College on Saturday, November 27 will be televised on ESPN or ESPN2. Kickoff is set for12:00 p.m. The Orange is 7-3 overall and 4-2 in the BIG EAST, while Boston College is 5-5 overall and 3-4 in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Syracuse leads the 45-year series, 28-17. A confirmation of the television network will be announced as soon as it is available.
This weekend rv/rv Syracuse will host Connecticut in the Carrier Dome (7:00 p.m., ESPNU) on 'Celebrate NY Day'. Fans are invited tojoin the Syracuse Athletics department in celebrating the educators in your world by nominating a teacher for Syracuse's 'New York's College Team' award. The honor will be presented to teachers within New York State, who are nominated by a student, a class or their peers, at the game.
Nominations should detail why the teacher meets the criteria, including:
- Is a leader in both the classroom and an extra-circular activity within their school or related to the school (Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Pop Warner, etc)
- Has a positive impact/influence on their students both within the classroom and out
- Dedicates free time to helping further students with their life skills
- Leads by example through their teaching, their attitude and their commitment to their job and community
Nominations should be submitted via email to teamsu@syr.edu or via regular mail to the SU Marketing Department, 1301 East Colvin Street, Syracuse, NY 13244. The deadline for nominations is November 16 and the winners will be notified on November 17.

The 'New York's College Team' combo ticket package features tickets for Syracuse University football, men's basketball and women's basketball.
