Syracuse Men's and Women's Rowing Host Annual Syracuse Invitational

The Syracuse University men and women's rowing teams host the annual Syracuse Invitational on Saturday, November 6 on at the Ten Eyck Boathouse located at Onondaga Lake Outlet in Longbranch Park. Buffalo, Colgate, Cornell, Hobart, Marist and Rochester will all join the Orange in seven separate races. The Orange will also christen a new shell (Class of 1988) and honor the 1970 crew team and Dr. Bruce Chamberlin before racing begins.
The day begins at 10 a.m. with the men's varsity four “A” flight. The Orange has four of the 17 boats in the flight. The women's varsity four “B” flight will begin 15 minutes later, with SU entering three vessels in that race.
Syracuse has two boats in the men's freshman eight at 10:30 a.m. and one in the women's novice eight at 10:45 a.m.
The day concludes with the “B” flight of the varsity four. The men have two boats racing at 11 a.m. and the women have four in the final event of the day at 11:15 a.m.
