Endzones Painted For Pinstripe Bowl

BRONX, N.Y. - Today the Yankee Stadium grounds crew painted the endzones in preparation for the first New Era Pinstripe Bowl between Kansas State and Syracuse, which will take place on Thursday, Dec. 30 (ESPN, 3:20 p.m.).
The contest will mark the first college football bowl game at the current Yankee Stadium and the first in New York City since the original Yankee Stadium hosted the Gotham Bowl on Dec. 15, 1962 between Nebraska and Miami.
Syracuse and Kansas State enter the game with identical 7-5 records. Both teams will travel to New York City on Sunday, Dec. 26 and participate in several events in the days leading up to the game.
