Empire State Building To Be Lit For New Era Pinstripe Bowl

NEW YORK - The Empire State Building will split its world-famous tower lights for Syracuse and Kanas State on Wednesday, Dec. 29 to celebrate the first-ever New Era Pinstripe Bowl taking place on Thursday, Dec. 30 at Yankee Stadium. The North and South sides of the building will be lit Syracuse orange and white, while the West and East sides will be lit purple and white for Kansas State.

Kickoff for the bowl game is scheduled for 3:20 p.m. on ESPN. It will be the second college football game at the current Yankee Stadium and the first bowl game in New York City in nearly 50 years.

Tickets for the New Era Pinstripe Bowl are available online. A variety of attractive fan packages are available. All Orange football fans are invited to the 'Bowl Before the Bowl' celebration, Syracuse's official pre-bowl party in New York City. A limited number of tickets are available for the event to be held at Bowlmor Lanes in Times Square on Wednesday, Dec. 29 from 6 to 10 pm. Tickets, which cost $42 per person, include admission, free bowling, appetizers and one drink ticket, and are available through the Syracuse University Lubin House (212-710-5583 or via email sulubin@syr.edu).
