Boeheim, Johnson Honored Receive FoxSports.com Laurels

Jim Boeheim has been named national coach of the year by FoxSports.com. Forward Wes Johnson was also recognized, earning a first-team spot on the FoxSports.com All-America team.
#3/3 Syracuse (28-3) is preparing for a quarterfinal game in this week's BIG EAST Conference Tournament. The Orange will play the winner of USF-Georgetown on Thursday at noon.
Boeheim was also selected national coach of the year by Sporting News.
Johnson was selected second-team All-American by Sporting News. Johnson was also a first-team All-BIG EAST Conference pick. He leads the team in scoring (15.7), rebounding (8.5) and minutes-played (34.5) averages. Johnson has started all 31 games for Syracuse this season. He is in his first season at SU after transferring from Iowa State.
