Jamieson Named To ThunderBay/IL Team of the Week

BALTIMORE – Senior attackman Cody Jamieson was named to the ThunderBay/Inside Lacrosse Team of the Week on Tuesday, April 13 for his performance in SU's 13-4 victory against Princeton Saturday at the Konica Minolta Big City Classic. The honor comes on the heels of his selection as the BIG EAST Conference Offensive Player of the Week yesterday.
Jamieson scored a career-high five points and tied his personal best with four goals. He also registered an assist in the second quarter. Jamieson came alive at the start of the third quarter, scoring three straight goals to help break open the game. For his performance, he was voted the player of the game by the media in attendance.
Cornell's Rob Pannell and Hofstra's Jay Card were the other two attackmen recognized by the publication this week.
The ThunderBay/Inside Lacrosse Team of the Week is selected by the magazine's staff and released on Tuesdays during the college season.
Syracuse will face off against No. 10 Cornell Tuesday night in Ithaca. Faceoff is set for 7 p.m. at Schoellkopf Field. The game will be televised live on Time Warner Cable Sports.
