SU Duo Named To BIG EAST Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Orange senior attackman Cody Jamieson and junior Joel White were each named to the BIG EAST Conference Honor Roll on Monday, April 26. The pair helped lead the Orange to a 14-5 victory against Providence on April 24 in its only game last week.
Jamieson tied his career high with five points versus Providence. He contributed three goals and two assists in the victory. Jamieson had a hand in four of the Orange's eight second-half goals, including two goals and one assist in a 5-0 SU run that sealed the game.
White registered a career-best six caused turnovers to lead an SU defense that allowed just five goals against the Friars. He also collected five ground balls and assisted on one of the Orange's five third-quarter goals.
Syracuse returns to action on Saturday, May 1. The Orange will face Notre Dame in a 7 p.m. clash at Arlotta Stadium. The game will be televised live nationally on ESPNU.
