
Recruiting Class Ranked In Top Five

The men's basketball coaching staff secured one of the top five recruiting classes in 2010 according to two national publications. Sporting News Today rated Syracuse's incoming class fourth overall while espn.com placed the group fifth.
The class is comprised of four players who signed national letters of intent (NLI) with Syracuse: center Fabricio Melo (The Sagemont School, Fla.), shooting guard Dion Waiters (Life Center Academy, N.J.), small forward C.J. Fair (Brewster Academy, N.H.), and center Baye Moussa Keita (Oak Hill Academy, Va.).
Sporting News Today ranked Ohio State first, followed by Memphis, Kentucky, Syracuse and North Carolina.
The top five recruiting classes, according to espn.com, were: 1) Kentucky, 2) Ohio State, 3) North Carolina, 4) Memphis and 5) Syracuse. It rated Melo the top center in the class and Waiters second among shooting guards.
