Rick Jackson and the Orange face the second most-familiar foe in program history when Cornell comes to the Carrier Dome on November 30.

SYRACUSE, NY – Syracuse will compete with its second most-familiar foe when Cornell comes to the Carrier Dome on Tuesday, November 30. The two teams have met 117 times overall and the Orange hold an 86-31 edge in the series.
     Cornell has established itself as a perennial Ivy League power over the past few seasons. The Big Red have captured the Ivy League title for three straight seasons and earned the automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament that is awarded to the conference champion.
     The Big Red was 29-5 last season and advanced to the NCAA Tournament regional semifinal before losing to Kentucky. Syracuse handed Cornell one of its five defeats during the campaign, 88-73 on November 24. It was Syracuse's 32^nd consecutive triumph against the Big Red.
     New season tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, September 8, at 10:00 a.m. Single-game sales will start on Wednesday, October 13, at 10:00 a.m.
