
Join the Celebrities at the SFC Golf Outing

The Syracuse Football Club will host a celebrity charity golf tournament on Monday, August 30 2010. The tournament will be held at the Calvary Club in Manlius, NY. This 18 hole format with a morning and afternoon shotgun allows experienced and novice golfers to compete in tournament play.
This charity golf tournament, hosted by the Syracuse Football Club, will benefit Syracuse University Football. The Football Club is a membership of former Syracuse players, coaches and others who are connected with the football program, who are dedicated to preserving football as a top Division 1 program at Syracuse University. The funds raised will help The Syracuse Football Club perpetuate the Syracuse University football program tradition and promote brotherhood and unity between Syracuse University and former football players for their mutual benefit. The SFC is distinctly focused and committed to helping players succeed on the football field, in the classroom and in the job market. Among the celebrities committed are Ger '60 and Scott '87 Schwedes, Don MacPherson '88, Bill Fuccillo '78, Tim Green '87 and many more.
The Cavalry Club features a world-class 18 hole golf course designed by renowned golf architects Lee & Wilson. Since 1965, the Cavalry Club has hosted many of golf's finest players, including champions Fred Couples, John Daly, Jeff Sluman, Patty Sheehan, Steve Melnyic,and Kathy Whitworth. A practice putting green and driving range allow players to hone their skills before tackling the full course.
